The Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers is a rowdy, cheerful, and fun-loving club of 52 members. We pride ourselves on being the “Best Damn Rotary Club in the Region”! Our team of over-achievers and type A personalities gathered together last Sunday night for our annual Installation Dinner. Celebrating 20 Years of Dawnbreakers, we had interactive displays of past years’ activities and accomplishments. Board members were installed and the District Governor, Past District Governor and
Assistant District Governors were in attendance.
And, we had comedy!!! Professional, laugh-out-loud, tears in your eyes, comedy. Thanks to you… Bryan Cork!
The bald guys loved being on your team! Married people and dating couples laugh and smirked! The self-employed drug tested folks giggled and everyone had a blast!
You made us laugh at ourselves and many of the funny situations we find ourselves and others experiencing. Thanks for bringing us together in humor and sharing your talents with us. You’ve got the kind of humor that resonates with Rotarians – we take ourselves seriously but not too seriously. And, we love to laugh. Bryan managed to make 200 employees laugh non-stop at 9am at our company Christmas party. He was funny and kept it PG rated. He got nothing but great reviews from our employees.

“One of the challenges at a Holiday party is how to entertain the employees with many backgrounds and personalities. This year we chose to hire a comedian. In the last 15 years, we have never tried this venue. I spoke with Bryan ahead of time and he ensured me it would be professional and, of course, funny! We had appetizers, drinks, and served dinner to everyone. Bryan sat at my table and as we ate he glanced around the room and asked questions about the employees. I shared with him some work stories and other stories to assist Bryan with who he was entertaining. After dinner was served, it was time for the Bryan show. He performed outstanding from his opening until his finish. He had remembered names from our earlier conversations, had fun with many of the group, and it was all professional. It was also very funny with several people choking on their drink at the punch line! I would invite Brian back any time and recommend his show for any professional group. It really opened up the party after his show concluded as people could not stop talking about it. My only regret was not having him perform before we sat down for dinner”.

To be honest, I was a bit concerned about hiring entertainment for our small group of only 20 people. Bryan was awesome!! We invited him along to dinner before the show. He did join us & took the time to get to know our group. He remembered names & was very good interacting with the group. He was quick on his feet & rolled with the punches whenever someone from the group made a comment. I heard nothing but good comments from all of our employees. He had us laughing hysterically for the whole hour!! When I was wrapping things up with the hotel receptionist the following day, she told me she heard people commenting about how good the comedian was.
